Legend of Franz Sacher, a young trainee chef at the court of Prince Metternich, who must replace the head cook who falls ill and finds himself improvising a dessert for some special guests. He created a delicate chocolate cake with the filling of apricot jam and covered with lightly spiced with a rich chocolate frosting. The rating

Soon, the sweet, became famous and requested in all the noble families and European high society parties.
The story does not end here, because at the time the disease had to be all the rage, and so Franz soon fell ill and died, leaving everything in the hands of his wife Anna, who managed to create out of nothing of the true legend ' Hotel Sacher, the excellent hospitality of its rooms and the elegant tea rooms of his pastry shop ...
